Cancer Research UK puts up its Christmas decorations

Cancer Research UK launches a new national Christmas campaign created by Aloha in over 500 stores this season. The campaign is designed to create a distinctive and cohesive look for Christmas across the brand, drive sales of the new ‘bought in goods’ offering and attract a new broader customer base.

Paul Cook, Head of Retail Marketing and Development said, “Aloha have managed to create a design that captures the spirit of Christmas and we hope will attract customers into our shops to buy our gorgeous gifts and cards this Christmas.“
Using a snowflake graphic derived from the Cancer Research UK logo Aloha created a vibrant and festive visual identity that gives Cancer Research UK greater stand-out on a competitive high street.

Environmental graphics, point-of-sale, brochures, posters and door drops have been transformed into the new look.

The look is already proving a big hit. One store manager says, “Honestly think the POS has worked wonders. Those bike posters have meant I've practically sold out of those in my area!!!”


Nelsons rescueshectic lifestyles

Rescue Remedy: Online support for national radio and instore campaign

Nelsons, the leading manufacturer of natural medicines has launched a national campaign for its iconic brand, Rescue™ Remedy.

Created by Aloha the campaign is the first for Rescue Remedy since its launch campaign 'Yoga in a bottle'. The new campaign moves from yoga to stressful moments from shopping with the kids to stresses at work.

The target audience has been widened in a national campaign for the brand now targeting over 7M 'busy women'.
The campaign supports the largest national instore promotion of Rescue Remedy in Boots stores nationwide and coincides with the launch of the new trial size 7ml spray.

The brand has recently added to its acclaim by winning best emotional support product voted by customers in the 2006 Boots Customer Healthcare Awards.

Aloha creative answers Wishes
Whilst completing the Cancer Research UK Christmas 2006 identity, Aloha was asked to undertake a similar brief for their new chain of card and gift shops, Wishes.

Aloha set about visualising a 'wish' and, most importantly, making it christmassy. The star from the core brand identity was brought to life to create a magical and elegant festive identity using this year's Christmas colours.

CityA.M. has appointed Aloha to strengthen its 'business with personality' positioning without a pitch.

Aloha has been briefed to increase awareness of the CityA.M. brand and to support plans to roll out the paper to other UK cities next year.

CityA.M. managing director Lawson Muncaster says he chose Aloha because the agency understands CityA.M.'s need to "engage the readers through non-conventional methods".
